Context
November is well under way, but Halloween is still in the name of the tour that reaches Underground Arts on November 12, 2023. The concept includes costumes for musicians and audience. Protest the Hero crosses North America with Moon Tooth, in a phase after Luke Hoskin's departure from the stage.
Rody Walker takes the vocals, while Tim MacMillar shares the guitars with Ben Davis. Henry Selva and Matt Kidby complete the road lineup. Goddess Bound opens the performance; The Fireside, Soliloquy and All Hands put Palimpsest at the center of a selection that also passes through Fortress, Scurrilous and Volition.
The encore goes back to Kezia with Heretics & Killers and ends on Mist. The trip moves on to New York, Cambridge and Toronto. The footage remains in the archive of hate5six, a project dedicated to preserving performances and circulating them for free: a record of this road lineup, without the framing of a commemorative retrospective.
- Heretics & Killers and Mist close the show in the encore.
