Context
On August 5, 2011, the field at Kostrzyn nad Odrą hosts Helloween among the headliners of the 17th Przystanek Woodstock. The band arrives with the tour for 7 Sinners, released the year before. Fronting the five-piece, Andi Deris faces a crowd that fills the ground in front of the stage.
Are You Metal? opens the show before Eagle Fly Free and March of Time pull the setlist back to the 1980s. Dani Löble gets room for a solo. At the center of the set, Keeper of the Seven Keys, The King for a 1000 Years and Halloween share a single medley, condensing three long compositions.
In the closing stretch, two giant inflatable pumpkins expand the stage set, while smaller ones head into the crowd. I Want Out closes the encore, and Jurek Owsiak joins the farewell. The tour continues through the European festival circuit, with Sziget next. The footage preserves this Woodstock stop as an encounter on an unusual scale.
- A single medley brings together Keeper of the Seven Keys, The King for a 1000 Years and Halloween.
