Context
On May 14, 1992, Helloween arrives at Cologne's Live Music Hall with a change already stamped on its latest album. Roland Grapow had taken Kai Hansen's place on Pink Bubbles Go Ape. Now the band takes this lineup to the stage, with Michael Kiske out front.
Kids of the Century and Back on the Streets open the way for Eagle Fly Free. The set does not treat the recent album as a detail: nine of its eleven tracks appear. Weikath and Grapow handle the guitars, Grosskopf and Schwichtenberg hold the rhythm section, and Jörn Ellerbrock completes the lineup on keyboards.
The tour still heads to Japan, and Chameleon arrives in 1993 as the next studio chapter. The Cologne recording stays in the Rockpalast archive, preserving this gap between albums. At the close, How Many Tears and Keeper of the Seven Keys put the past back at the center of the stage.
