Genesis

Genesis emerged in 1967 among students at Charterhouse School, in Godalming, England. With Peter Gabriel on vocals, it consolidated its progressive phase on records like Nursery Cryme and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. After Gabriel left, Phil Collins took over vocals and the band moved closer to pop on albums like Invisible Touch. Collins left in 1996; the group ended its touring history after the 2021 to 2022 reunion.
