Context
After months away from audiences, Rolando Boldrin returns to his hometown to celebrate his 85th birthday. In São Joaquim da Barra, the encounter with Casuarina shifts the focus from the presenter to the songwriter. The collaboration grows out of a selection of songs sent to the Rio group by Patrícia Maia Boldrin.
At Teatro Arthur Parada, Boldrin sings and tells stories between the quartet's performances. Daniel Montes handles arrangements and musical direction, alongside Gabriel Azevedo, João Fernando and Rafael Freire. Três Heróis brings a previously unreleased collaboration with Adoniran Barbosa; Bola na Rede connects the repertoire with Gianfrancesco Guarnieri.
The night reaches a national audience as a TV Cultura special on Christmas Eve 2021. In 2022, the encounter joins the Biscoito Fino catalog on CD and DVD, co-produced by the broadcaster. The recording preserves a tribute paid during Boldrin's lifetime and places his songwriting at the center of the circle.
- Três Heróis reveals a collaboration with Adoniran Barbosa kept under wraps for about fifty years.
