Context
On June 5, 1995, Bad Religion reaches the Pinkpop north stage in the middle of a major change. Brett Gurewitz had left the year before, and Brian Baker takes the guitar alongside Greg Hetson. Stranger Than Fiction marks the band's move to Atlantic and gives the tour its name.
In Landgraaf, Greg Graffin leads a set that brings The Handshake and Infected close to Henchman and No Control. Jay Bentley and Bobby Schayer complete the five-piece. Evan Seinfeld, who also plays the festival with Biohazard, joins on We're Only Gonna Die. The guest spot crosses two bands on that day's bill.
After Landgraaf, the tour continues through Germany, with dates in Osnabrück and Kiel. The preserved recording has a concrete gap: American Jesus, the opener, is missing because the microphones had no audio. The available sequence starts with The Handshake and ends with Best for You, keeping twenty songs by this transitional lineup.
- Evan Seinfeld shares vocals on We're Only Gonna Die.
