Context
In April 2010, Simone arrives at Teatro Guararapes with a show already tested on the road. The premiere at Canecão the previous September had brought together Na Veia and songs from other periods. In Pernambuco, Fullgás, Ive Brussel, and Nada Por Mim join the set.
Onstage, Tô Que Tô leads into Love and Certas Noites. Julinho Teixeira serves as musical director on keyboards and accordion, alongside electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums, and percussion. Simone moves through Face a Face, sings her co-written Vale a Pena Tentar, and carries desire into Perigosa.
The two performances on April 10 and 11 become a DVD and double CD released by Biscoito Fino later in 2010. José Possi Neto directs the show. The recording preserves a period grounded in recent material without turning the past into a museum piece: older songs share space with the work driving the tour.
- Fullgás, Ive Brussel, and Nada Por Mim refresh the set presented at the Rio premiere.
