Album featured at the showRhonda2020Nine of the project's ten tracks revisit Rhonda; Room Service comes from Invisible Woman.“To see the band from the first Rhonda tour bring the work developed onstage into the studio.”
Context
The destination is the studio, but the starting point is the road. Silvia Machete gathers the band during the first Rhonda tour, after several shows together. The 2020 album had opened an entirely English-language chapter, between soul and jazz. Now, its songs get a live recording conceived with a visual dimension as well.
Silvia takes the vocal lead in front of a quartet: Chicão Montorfano on keyboards, Conrado Goys on guitar, Antônio Loureiro on drums, and Lalo Brusco on bass. Brusco also serves as musical director. The project brings together ten tracks, nine connected to Rhonda. Room Service bridges the gap to Invisible Woman, broadening the scope without leaving the character behind.
The studio recording is conceived to preserve the work developed onstage, with artistic direction by Gui Pondé and editing by Bea Pomar. In August 2025, the material arrives as a digital album and a series of music videos through Biscoito Fino. In 2026, it wins the foreign-language award at the Prêmio da Música Brasileira: the touring experience takes on a life of its own as an audiovisual work.
