Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa was created in 1990 in Frankfurt by musician Tilo Wolff, initially as a solo project. The debut album, Angst, came out in 1991; in 1994, Finnish musician Anne Nurmi joined the project, debuting on Inferno, from 1995.

The band incorporated orchestral arrangements on records such as Elodia and Lichtgestalt, while keeping its lyrics mostly in German. From the start, it has released its work through its own label, Hall of Sermon.
