Feuerschwanz — Bloodstock Open Air 2025

On August 10, 2025, Feuerschwanz arrives at Bloodstock for its first UK show. The debut takes place on the Ronnie James Dio stage at Catton Park, after Memento Mori and Fegefeuer topped the German charts. The band crosses this border with Knightclub about to be released.

Onstage, armor and medieval instruments share space with guitars and drums. The crowd raises plastic weapons as the band sings in German, with language proving no barrier to participation. SGFRD Dragonslayer opens the set; Bastard von Asgard and Berzerkermode keep Fegefeuer at the center of the party, amid violin and bagpipes.

The closing song, Valhalla, points toward the next step: Knightclub arrives on August 22, twelve days later, including that track and the title song already performed here. The full recording remains available in the festival's audiovisual archive. More than a slot on the bill, it documents the British debut of a band with an established audience in Germany.
