Slipknot

Slipknot came out of Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, with nine members, numbered jumpsuits and masks that erased their faces to leave only the noise. Doubled percussion, samples, down-tuned guitars and Corey Taylor’s voice between scream and chorus took an extreme sound to the top of the American charts. Live, the chaos is rehearsed to the millimeter.

Why listen to Slipknot?

To feel the organized chaos of nine people playing as a single threat.
