Ministry

Ministry formed in Chicago in 1981, led by Al Jourgensen, and started with a synth-pop sound on With Sympathy. The band changed direction on Twitch and cemented its blend of industrial music and metal on The Land of Rape and Honey and The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste.

Psalm 69 broadened its reach in 1992. After disbanding in 2008, it returned in 2011. Jourgensen announced a final album and tour to bring the project to a close.
