Primal Fear

Primal Fear emerged in Esslingen, Germany, in 1997, bringing together singer Ralf Scheepers and bassist Mat Sinner after Scheepers was not chosen to replace Rob Halford in Judas Priest. The debut album came out in 1998, followed by Jaws of Death and Nuclear Fire, which established the band in power metal.

In 2005, Seven Seals marked a phase of changes in the sound. The group remains active and released Domination in 2025.
