Context
On June 7, 2025, Slipknot takes Rock am Ring's Utopia Stage. The German stop belongs to that year's European tour, but the lineup takes the stage without Shawn Clown Crahan. A family emergency keeps the percussionist away from the shows at Rock im Park and Rock am Ring.
The set starts with (sic) and People = Shit. Gematria joins Psychosocial in the All Hope Is Gone block. Yen brings in material from The End, So Far, while Nero Forte and Unsainted represent We Are Not Your Kind. The finale goes back to the first album with Spit It Out, Surfacing and Scissors.
The broadcast keeps this night with a founder missing from the stage. Corey Taylor addresses the situation in front of the crowd, and the group continues its European route after Germany. The recording gathers different eras of the band, but ends by returning to the 1999 songs, without relying only on the most recent singles.
