Faun

Faun emerged in Munich in 1998 and released its first album, Zaubersprüche, in 2002. The group combines acoustic instruments with repertoire tied to medieval music and folk traditions. After an early phase of independent releases, Von den Elben, from 2012, marked a move toward pop and commercial success in Germany. Luna and Midgard followed; in 2021, the band created the label Pagan Folk Records and released Pagan the following year.
