Context
In October 2023, the return to the road carries an extra wait. The Call to Arms & Angels tour had been postponed after Darius Keeler's cancer diagnosis in 2022. Before the French dates, Archive takes over the Grandes Serres de Pantin for a Passengers session.
The empty industrial hall swaps the crowd for metal structures and lighting. Eight musicians carry ten songs, with Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier and Lisa Mottram on vocals. Mr Daisy opens the journey; Daytime Coma runs almost fifteen minutes. Bullets, Vice and Take My Head cut through the dominance of the recent record.
The session works as a warm-up for a schedule that has the Accor Arena in Paris as its destination in November. ARTE turns this stop in Pantin into a program of about seventy minutes. The film keeps a scale different from the arena: the collective fills a piece of architecture with no audience.
- Daytime Coma runs almost fifteen minutes at the center of the session.
