Context
At 8:45 p.m. on August 11, M'era Luna nears its end in Hildesheim. Ronan Harris takes the stage with two keyboardists and a drummer, without the orchestra that marked his previous visit to the festival. Electric Sun, from 2023, is the most recent work in this return to electronics.
Space & Time opens the show with hands raised and voices singing along with Harris. The Game, Run and Prophet set the recent record among songs from other phases. During Gratitude, balloons cross the crowd, but the wind carries them beyond the stage. By the time Illusion arrives, the sun is gone and lights dot the audience.
Nova and All Our Sins close the performance, while Harris points to a new album and a tour in 2025. The partnership between NDR and ARTE turns the night into a broadcast and later an on-demand recording. The festival's close remains available as a meeting of electronic programming, musicians on stage and collective singing.
- Illusion reaches the crowd under the lights, with Harris calling for a collective singalong.
