Context
On August 18, 2023, Powerwolf headlines Summer Breeze, in Dinkelsbühl. Interludium had come out in April, and the Summer Crusade is making its way across European festivals. The German night raises the scale: the band prepares one of its biggest productions to date.
Attila Dorn takes the lead vocals, with Matthew and Charles Greywolf on guitars, Falk Maria Schlegel on keyboards and Roel van Helden on drums. Faster Than the Flame opens the musical sequence. Fireworks and pyrotechnics share space with a giant augmented reality wolf, created with ARTE Concert and 0221 Mediaagentur.
The film airs on ARTE and preserves the performance beyond the festival calendar. In 2024, part of the audio also reaches the CD Live at Summerbreeze 2023, offered to VIP ticket buyers on the Wolfsnächte Tour. The night leaves two complementary marks: the spectacle for the cameras and the audio document.
- Fifteen songs run through the edit, from Faster Than the Flame to Werewolves of Armenia.

Trivia
The production combines pyrotechnics and fireworks with a giant wolf created in augmented reality.
The augmented reality effect comes from a collaboration with ARTE Concert and 0221 Mediaagentur.
Part of the performance came out on CD in 2024 as Live at Summerbreeze 2023, given to VIP ticket buyers on the Wolfsnächte Tour.
