Context
On November 14, 2024, Hip Hop Symphonique changes its rule: instead of bringing together several names, it hands the whole night to Josman. The rapper arrives at the Auditorium de Radio France after selling out the Accor Arena that year. The ninth edition trades the parade of guests for a deep dive into a single career.
On stage, Josman meets the 43 musicians of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the ten members of The Ice Kream. Dylan Corlay conducts; Issam Krimi takes the piano and the artistic direction. Between Dans le vide and Goal, the program makes room for two pieces by Krimi, along with choir, brass and strings.
The performance airs in December, on ARTE Concert and on Mouv’ radio, which broadcasts the concert on the 19th. There is also a version with musical interpretation in French Sign Language. The film preserves a concrete change in the project's approach: the orchestra stops hosting a parade of rappers and backs a single world.
- La Divine Maline and Pierre de Lune make room for Issam Krimi's instrumental writing.
