Context
At 5:15 p.m. on a Friday, Southside's Green Stage takes in the humor of The Butcher Sisters. It is June 19, 2026, in Neuhausen ob Eck. Das Schwarze Album had arrived in January, a year after Das Weiße Album, and fills half of the set's fourteen songs.
Bierosaufus Ex clears the way for Lachen and the detour through Crazy Frog. Alexander Bechtel and Nicklas Stroppel split the vocals, while the repertoire brings together German-language rap, metal and deliberately absurd humor. White Monster and Herr Dokter represent the recent batch; Baggersee, Sonnenbrille and Bauchtasche keep the link to earlier releases.
After Southside, the schedule takes the group to Hurricane on June 21. The Neuhausen ob Eck stop remains as an ARTE Concert television recording, nearly an hour long. Between two festivals on the same weekend, the show captures a phase in which the new material already carries much of the stage.
- Seven tracks from Das Schwarze Album share space with Sonnenbrille, Bauchtasche and Drachentöter.
