Context
On December 3, 2025, La Gaîté Lyrique hosts a celebration that spans generations of French-language rap. ARTE Dans le Club reaches its 50th edition, seven years after its debut. Kery James takes on the role of the night's godfather with R.A.P freshly released: the record had come out five days earlier.
He opens with Le Retour du rap français and moves through Mouhammad Alix before focusing on the new songs. Radical, J'suis pas CNews and R.A.P fill the first half. Shaban, a tribute to Gaza, comes before Ne grandissez pas trop vite. Later on, L'impasse and Banlieusards connect this present to other phases of his career.
The performance is part of a program that also features Hugo TSR, Bamby and Triangle des Bermudes, but gets its own film of about 42 minutes. The broadcast stays in ARTE Concert's online archive for a limited time. What remains on record is a precise meeting: the show's anniversary and the arrival of a new record on stage.
