Context
Frejat returns to Rock in Rio in 2011 with a history that goes back to the first edition, when he played with Barão Vermelho. On October 1, the Cidade do Rock hosts his solo show. The performance crosses the band's songs, his own work and compositions by other Brazilian artists, without being limited to his latest album.
Exagerado opens the selection. Você Não Entende Nada, Não Vou Ficar and Caleidoscópio bring in Caetano Veloso, Roberto Carlos and Os Paralamas. Segredos leads to the meeting with Rafael Pellegatti Frejat, guest guitarist on Malandragem and Amor pra Recomeçar. Horns and percussion expand the band of Billy Brandão, Bruno Migliari, Marcelinho da Costa and Maurício Barros.
Bete Balanço and Puro Êxtase fill the end of the set. The recording gets an official release in 2012 and becomes the first live document of Frejat's solo career. His son's presence and the link to Barão bring two eras of his career together in the same night.
