The Adicts

The Adicts emerged in Ipswich, England, in late 1975, initially as Afterbirth & The Pinz. The band released its first album, Songs of Praise, in 1981, followed by Sound of Music, which reached the British charts.

In 1983, the single “Bad Boy” led to a contract with Sire and a brief name change to ADX. The group went back to the name The Adicts and remained active, releasing records and touring.
