Latest album at the timeПроклятье морей2018Проклятье морей is Aria's most recent studio album at the time of the recording.“To see Aria trade big productions for clubs, on a tour devoted to the less visited corners of its catalog.”
Context
After the big productions of Гость из Царства Теней, Aria trades the scale of the spectacle for the club circuit. The Это рок tour begins in 2024 with a specific idea: to bring back rarely played songs from different periods. In October, two sold-out nights at the Jagger Club in Saint Petersburg are recorded.
Mikhail Zhitnyakov takes the vocals, backed by Vladimir Kholstinin's and Sergey Popov's guitars, Vitaly Dubinin's bass and Maxim Udalov's drums. Патриот opens the run of songs. Between Викинг, Пытка тишиной and Ангельская пыль, the program makes room for a drum solo and ends with Дай руку мне.
In 2025, these shows come out on audio and video under the tour's name. The club run continues until May, when two shows in Moscow close the project. The film preserves a less obvious choice for a band with a long catalog: putting the less frequent songs at the center of the stage.
- Two sold-out nights in Saint Petersburg give rise to the film.
