Context
On June 10, 2022, Eurovision has already become too small for Måneskin's calendar. A year after the win, the quartet arrives at the fields of Nickelsdorf to play the Blue Stage at Nova Rock, between Sportfreunde Stiller and Kraftklub. SUPERMODEL is still new.
Damiano David opens with ZITTI E BUONI, the song that took the band to the European contest. Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio complete the stage. The set moves between Italian and English; Womanizer and I Wanna Be Your Dog bring Britney Spears and The Stooges into the same show.
The finale brings fans onto the stage for LIVIDI SUI GOMITI, while I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE gets an extended bridge and ending. Ahead, the calendar moves on to the arenas of Loud Kids Gets Louder and to the third album, in 2023. The recording captures this passage between the television triumph and international expansion.
