Context
The sun beats down on Catton Park on Friday, August 12, 2022. Bloodywood arrives from New Delhi with Rakshak still fresh and a tour that crosses borders. After gaining exposure through covers, the group now drives its international expansion with original songs and an explicitly Indian identity.
On the Ronnie James Dio Stage, Gaddaar opens the set. Jayant Bhadula and Raoul Kerr share vocals, while guitar, bass, and drums meet Sarthak Pahwa's percussion. The dhol and flute are integral to this mix rather than mere decoration. Ari Ari and Machi Bhasad help get the crowd moving in the heat.
The Bloodstock appearance is part of the Nine Inch Naans Tour, which also takes the band to Japan, Europe, and the United States. In September, the performance begins circulating as a full festival recording. The gathering at Catton Park remains a document of a phase when digital reach translates into a presence on international stages.
- Gaddaar opens the set under the sun at Catton Park.
