Context
On August 14, 2022, Vended takes the main stage at Bloodstock for its UK debut. The Des Moines band carries two familiar surnames: Griffin Taylor is Corey Taylor's son; Simon Crahan is Shawn Crahan's. But the band arrives with its own material, still centered on its first EP.
Ded to Me opens the attack on the Ronnie James Dio Stage. Griffin handles vocals, Simon takes the drums, and Cole Espeland, Connor Grodzicki and Jeremiah Pugh round out the quintet. Burn My Misery and Bloodline follow. The set runs through eight songs and ends with Antibody, bringing together every track from What Is It//Kill It.
After Catton Park, the British itinerary continues at the Black Heart in London and The Anvil in Bournemouth. The full recording preserves this early stop, before the debut album arrives in 2024. Here, the band's journey still fits into just over half an hour: an entire EP and three songs beyond it.
