Context
On August 13, 2022, Bury Tomorrow arrives on Bloodstock's main stage after a major change. Jason Cameron had left in 2021. With Ed Hartwell on guitar and Tom Prendergast on clean vocals and keyboards, the band now works as a six-piece, facing the field at Catton Park.
Choke opens the set, and The Grey (VIXI) keeps Cannibal at the center of the opening stretch. DEATH (Ever Colder) and LIFE (Paradise Denied) place the recent singles among established songs. On the grass, the crowd opens a circle pit and keeps the crowd surfing going, while Black Flame and Cannibal are saved for the close.
The performance finds the band between its last album with Cameron and the revamped lineup's next release. The Seventh Sun arrives in March 2023; in April, the full Bloodstock footage becomes publicly available. The recording preserves this period of transformation, with new material sharing space with the earlier repertoire.
- DEATH (Ever Colder) and LIFE (Paradise Denied) introduce the band's new phase before The Seventh Sun.
