Context
Thirty years on the road reach the grass of Catton Park on August 9, 2024. Hatebreed takes the Ronnie James Dio Stage during its anniversary tour, with Jamey Jasta out front and Chris Beattie still on bass. The celebration spans different eras without sticking to the latest album.
To the Threshold opens the attack, and the first chords immediately open up pits in the crowd. Wayne Lozinak and Frank Novinec share guitar duties, while Matt Byrne and Beattie keep the pressure on. Empty Promises revisits the start of the discography; Ghosts of War pays tribute to Slayer. At the close, the crowd joins in on I Will Be Heard.
After Catton Park, the route continues to Alcatraz in Belgium and From the Dust in France. The full performance is released in January 2025 as a professional recording with audio mixed by Tavish Cross. The recording preserves a celebration built on the accumulated catalog, not the obligation to present new material.
- I Will Be Heard closes the performance with the crowd singing along.
