Context
On August 12, 2023, Kentucky hardcore takes the main stage at a festival rooted in metal tradition. Knocked Loose arrives at Bloodstock two months after releasing Upon Loss Singles. The two new tracks bookend the performance: Deep in the Willow opens, Everything is Quiet Now closes.
Bryan Garris leads the attack at Catton Park, with Isaac Hale on guitar and backing vocals. Trapped in the Grasp of a Memory and Mistakes Like Fractures keep the pressure on. Midway through, the rain intensifies, reaches the stage and causes a brief power outage. The show goes on.
The final stretch moves through Billy No Mates and Counting Worms before returning to the June material. The festival footage preserves both the thirteen songs and the break forced by the storm. In February 2024, the full performance gets an official release, capturing an afternoon when the band's momentum meets concrete resistance from the weather.
- The rain causes a brief power outage, but the performance continues.
