Context
Thirteen years separate this afternoon from The Black Dahlia Murder's previous appearance at Bloodstock. On August 10, 2025, the band returns to Catton Park without Trevor Strnad, who died in 2022. Brian Eschbach, formerly on guitar, takes the microphone and reconnects with a crowd that remembers that earlier lineup.
Miasma leads into Contagion, linking two early chapters of the discography. Cursed Creator and Mammoth's Hand bring Servitude to the center of that story, while Kings of the Nightworld and Statutory Ape get the field moving. Eschbach alternates his vocal attack with jokes; the heaviness coexists with an openly festive spirit.
After the festival, touring for Servitude continues, and another British run with Heaven Shall Burn joins the 2026 calendar. The professional footage preserves this reunion on the Ronnie James Dio Stage. Between the older material and the first songs recorded without Strnad, the recording captures a band that keeps its past in motion.
- Cursed Creator and Mammoth's Hand bring the Servitude era to the main stage.
