Elton John

Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in Pinner, England, and began working with lyricist Bernie Taupin in the late 1960s. The song “Your Song” opened the way to international success, followed by records such as Honky Château and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, both from a prolific phase in the 1970s.

After going through changes in style and difficult periods, he returned to the charts with “Candle in the Wind 1997” and wrapped up his farewell tour in 2023.
