Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, and began his career as lead singer of the Jackson 5, a family group signed by Motown. On the turn to his adult solo career, he worked with Quincy Jones on Off the Wall and Thriller, which cemented his worldwide reach.

Bad kept up the run of major releases; in the following years came Dangerous, HIStory and Invincible. Jackson died in 2009, before starting the This Is It tour.
