Duran Duran

Formed in Birmingham in 1978, Duran Duran rose to prominence in the early 1980s, when its music videos helped take songs like “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Rio” to an international audience. The first two records introduced the mix of new wave and pop that defined the group; Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) yielded the hit “The Reflex”.

After lineup changes and periods of irregular activity, the band went back to recording and performing with different members.
