Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd formed in London in 1965 with Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. The group debuted with The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, but Barrett left in 1968, when David Gilmour had already joined the band.

With Waters at the helm, it released The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall. Waters left the group in 1985; Mason and Gilmour closed the studio chapter with The Endless River in 2014.
