Bob Dylan was born in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1941, and grew up in Hibbing before moving to New York, where he made his name on the Greenwich Village folk scene. The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan introduced songs that defined his acoustic phase; in 1965, the electric turn appeared on Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited, followed by Blonde on Blonde.
Blood on the Tracks put him back in the spotlight in the 1970s. Dylan has been recording and performing for decades.
