Shaman

Shaman emerged in São Paulo in 2000 with former Angra members André Matos, Luis Mariutti and Ricardo Confessori. The debut album, Ritual, came out in 2002 and also gained exposure through “Fairy Tale”, featured on the soundtrack of the telenovela O Beijo do Vampiro.

After Reason, from 2005, lineup changes led the band to carry on as Shaaman and release Immortal. The classic lineup reunited in 2018; Matos’s death in 2019 brought that phase to a close.
