Rammstein

Rammstein was formed in Berlin in 1994 by six musicians from East Berlin and Schwerin. The band established its mix of metal and industrial music on Herzeleid and gained international prominence with Sehnsucht, which featured “Du hast”.

Mutter consolidated that phase in the early 2000s, and Reise, Reise broadened the repertoire in 2004. After a break from touring, the group went back on the road in 2019 and released a self-titled album that year.
