Nile Rodgers

Nile Rodgers was born in New York and rose to prominence as guitarist, songwriter and producer, first with Bernard Edwards in Chic. The group left its mark on disco with C’est Chic, which includes “Le Freak”, and Risqué, which gave us “Good Times”.

After the end of Chic’s first era, Rodgers produced records for David Bowie, Madonna and Diana Ross. He returned to performing with Chic and kept collaborating with artists such as Daft Punk and Beyoncé.
