Milton Nascimento

Milton Nascimento was born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Três Pontas, Minas Gerais. He gained national prominence with “Travessia”, performed at the 1967 Festival Internacional da Canção, and grew close to the Belo Horizonte musicians who would form Clube da Esquina.

The album Clube da Esquina, from 1972, marked that partnership; then came Minas and Geraes. In 2022, he ended his touring with the series A Última Sessão de Música.
