Live

Live emerged in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984, still under the name Public Affection, and adopted its current name after signing with a label in 1991. Mental Jewelry introduced the band to a wide audience, but it was Throwing Copper, from 1994, that made its name with songs such as “Lightning Crashes”.

Secret Samadhi topped the US chart in 1997. Ed Kowalczyk left in 2009, returned in 2016, and the group carried on.
