Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin formed in London in 1968, out of Jimmy Page’s plans for a new Yardbirds lineup. With Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham, it released its first records between 1969 and 1971, including Led Zeppelin IV, which features “Stairway to Heaven”.

The band broadened its sound on albums such as Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti. After Bonham’s death in 1980, the members announced the end of the group.
