Kreator

Kreator formed in Essen, Germany, in 1982, initially as Tormentor, and helped establish German thrash metal. Endless Pain introduced the band in 1985; the following year, Pleasure to Kill cemented its reputation, followed by albums such as Extreme Aggression and Coma of Souls. In the 1990s, the group incorporated industrial and gothic elements into Outcast and Endorama before returning to thrash with Violent Revolution in 2001. The band remains active.
