Incubus formed in Calabasas, California, in 1991, among schoolmates. After its first independent records, it rose to prominence with Make Yourself, from 1999, which featured “Drive”, and Morning View, from 2001. The band went through lineup changes and kept releasing albums, among them Light Grenades and 8. In 2023, it revisited Morning View with a new recording, Morning View XXIII.
