DJ Memê

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Marcello Mansur became interested in DJing as a child and worked his way through South Zone nightclubs and the sound-system dances of the city’s outskirts. He later brought mixing shows to Rio radio and became a remix producer.

His partnership with Lulu Santos marked his career, on records like Assim Caminha a Humanidade and Eu e Memê, Memê e Eu. He also remixed Shakira’s “Estoy Aquí” and worked with Brazilian and international artists.
