Will Ackerman

Will Ackerman was born in Germany and grew up in Palo Alto, in the United States. Before devoting himself to music, he worked as a carpenter and founded Windham Hill Builders. In 1976, he created the label Windham Hill Records and self-released In Search of the Turtle’s Navel, his first album and the label’s first.
