Usher

Born in Dallas and raised in Chattanooga and Atlanta, Usher released his first album, Usher, in 1994, while still a teenager. My Way, from 1997, widened his reach with “You Make Me Wanna...” and “Nice & Slow”; 8701 cemented the next phase.

In 2004, Confessions brought together “Yeah!”, “Burn” and “Confessions Part II” and became his biggest commercial success. After continuing to record and tour, he returned to the center of pop culture with the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show.
