Twisted Sister

Twisted Sister formed in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, in 1972 and gained ground after years of playing shows around New York. The album Under the Blade paved the way for a deal with Atlantic, which released You Can’t Stop Rock ’n’ Roll and Stay Hungry.

The latter delivered the hits We’re Not Gonna Take It and I Wanna Rock. After the commercial decline of the subsequent albums, the band disbanded in 1988 and reunited for performances starting in the 2000s.
