Turnpike Troubadours

Formed in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in 2005 by Evan Felker and R.C. Edwards, Turnpike Troubadours built its path on the independent country and Red Dirt circuit. Diamonds & Gasoline, from 2010, widened the band’s audience; the 2015 self-titled album and A Long Way from Your Heart, from 2017, reached number three on the U.S. country chart.

After halting its activities in 2019, the group returned to the stage and released A Cat in the Rain in 2023.
