Tricky

Born in Bristol, Adrian Thaws began his career linked to The Wild Bunch collective and collaborated with Massive Attack, before releasing Maxinquaye in 1995. The record, made with Martina Topley-Bird, helped define Bristol trip-hop. The following year came Pre-Millennium Tension, with a harsher sound. Tricky kept releasing albums in the decades that followed, among them Knowle West Boy and False Idols.
